In the immediate vicinity of Bely you can enjoy all that makes the Czech Republic so special. Beautiful, extensive nature is perfect for walking, cycling, mountain biking, cross country skiing in winter or to relax and unwind.

Enjoy a wonderful terrace on the streets of villages where time seems to have stopped. The Giant Mountains (60 min) and Prague (150 minutes) are worth visiting.

Bělý

Bělý is a small village at the foot of the Broumovské steny what since 1960 is part of the on the other side of the hill situated Machov.

Nachod
Approximately 20 minutes south of Bělý is located on the beautiful river Metují: Nachod. Here you can enjoy the Czech cultural activities by visiting the many monuments of this city: the French Renaissance castle with gardens, the Gothic St. Lawrence Church, the old baroque town hall and post office. Visit the regional museum of Nachod and the surrounding area. There is also a swimming pool, ice rink (July to February) and tennis courts.

Broumov
Broumov is a place with a rich history and beautiful monuments with the Benedictine monastery as a showpiece. Broumov is also the starting point for some lovely walks to the Broumovské steny and Javorí Mountains. After your return in Broumov you can enjoy the terraces of the town square, or do some shopping.

Broumovské stěny
The 12 km long mountain range Broumovské steny consists of sandstone rock formations, deep valleys, beautiful waters, mazes, steep walls where you'll get surprised by the beauty of the surroundings. It is all year round a beautiful place to visit. This area is directly accessible from Bělý for hiking, mountain biking or rock climbing. Many marked trails provide a pleasant stay.

Adršpach-Teplice
Adršpach located on the north side of this particular area dotted with strange sandstone cliffs, pine trees and large boulders. Individually or with a guide you make beautiful walks on the well-marked paths between the gorges and waterfalls. A boat trip on the lake is also an option. Cross over to Teplice for more rocks. The trip through a deserted swamp is extremely impressive. Climbers may also enjoy their stay here.

Krkonoše (Giant Mountains)
Krkonoše National Park is located 60 minutes west of Bělý and is the highest mountain range of the Czech Republic. A unique area for nature lovers. The Snezka peak (1602 m) is accessible by a chairlift and provides an impressive vista. The walk up stretches along streams and through a beautiful wooded surroundings. In the winter this is the number one ski area of the Czech Republic.

Góry Stolowe - Poland  
Just east of Bělý the landscape ends in Poland in nature reserve Góry Stolowe. An impressive area where you will find the only table mountains of Poland.


  

Prague  
De indrukwekkende hoofdstad van Tsjechië mag niet ontbreken op het lijstje van de echte cultuursnuiver. Niet voor niets is Praag in 2000 uitgeroepen tot een van de Europese Hoofdsteden voor Cultuur. De stad telt meer dan 80 musea, ruim 100 kunstgalerijen en over de 70 theaters en concertgebouwen. Breng een bezoek aan de beroemde Karelsbrug, de Praagse burcht (grootste gesloten paleizencomplex), de Petrin Toren (kleine Eiffeltoren genoemd), Strahovklooster, St. Vituskathedraal, Stadhuis en astronomische klok. Zoek na een lange dag slenteren door de stad een klein cafeetje of restaurantje buiten het centrum om voor weinig heerlijk te genieten van een Tsjechische maaltijd.

The impressive capital of the Czech Republic may not absent from the list of true Culture lovers. In 2000 Prague was one of the European Capitals of Culture. The city has more than 80 museums, over 100 art galleries and more than 70 theaters and concert halls. Visit the famous Charles Bridge, Prague Castle (the largest closed palace complex), Petrin Tower (called small Eiffel Tower), Strahov Monastery, St. Vitus Cathedral, Town Hall and Astronomical Clock. Enjoy a delicious and cheap Czech meal after a long day's exploring a little outside the center.
