In the vicinity there are several winter sports opportunities.

Starting from the farm you can make beautiful winter walks. Perhaps you walk into deer or foxes.

Or do you rather prefer sled riding on the hill behind the farm?

Cross-country skiing
The area offers plenty of opportunities for daily skiing a different routel. Not all trails are drawn, what will make it a wonderful adventure. These tours run directly by the woods, over fields and along the beautiful sandstone rock formations. All equally impressive.

Skiing

In the immediate vicinity you will find a small number of skiing opportunities:

  • Machov (approx. 2 km) - a small slope
  • Police nad Metují (approx. 5 km) - a lift available
  • Teplice nad Metují (approx. 14 km) - There is a track available with a length of 1 km. Skis and snowboards can be rented here.
  • Janovicky (approx. 20 km) - This resort has three ski lifts. There is a possibility to rent skis and snowboards and attending classes.
  • Radvanice (approx. 20 km) - Possibility of renting skis and attending lessons.

The Giant Mountains (Krkonoše), the highest and most visited mountains of the Czech Republic are easily accessible for day trips. Here it is possible under professional guidance, often in English to attend ski / snowboard lessons.

Janské Lázne (approx. 45 km)

The ski area Janske Lazne is situated on the eastern side of the Giant Mountains. From the village a gondola leaves for the top of Cerna Hora (Black Mountain). Some fairly easy and difficult slopes are connected by two chairlifts and a multitude of drag lifts. The longest descent of the Cerna Hora is 3 kilometers, pretty long for Czech concepts. There is some twelve miles of tracks to be found, of which 7 km of blue / green slopes, 3 km of red runs and 2 km of black runs. Some of these slopes are well lit. Besides, you can make magnificent walks through the woods or enjoy cross country skiing.

Pec Pod Snezkou (approx. 60 km)
This resort is located in the eastern part of the Giant Mountains at the foot of the highest mountain of the Czech Republic: Snezka (1602 meters). This summit is like the center of the ski area. Except on foot it is also accessible by two chairlifts. The ridge where most of the area is located on is the border between the Czech Republic and Poland. The bulk of the slopes is easy to average. With a day ticket you can also ski in the evening on floodlit slopes. There is some eleven kilometers of slopes available, including 3 miles of blue / green runs, 7 km of red runs and 1 km of black runs.
